First movie original screenplay

Paul Walker (1973-2013)
So, I happened to stumble upon this original screenplay of the first movie, dated 4-20-00. 14 months before the first movie was released.

What do you think of that, and well, the changes from that one and the actual movie? Which scenes, do you think, were better written in the final movie, and which ones in the original screenplay? Personally, I find it weird that in that one, Brian's original car, which was blown up by Johnny Tran, was a Supra, and the "ten-second car" is a much-smaller 240SX. Although I do prefer the ending solution of that one, though not really in regards of what happens to Vince.

Happy reading. :P

I read the original for 2 Fast 2 Furious a long time ago as part of a film/screenplay class. It was pretty interesting. Will have to check this out.

Wow, original 2 Fast 2 Furious script? Do you happen to remember how original it was? Because they wanted Vin for this one, but he was busy with XXX at the time. So.. did the script have Dom or Rome?

As I recall it was the completed script, so it had Rome. So might not have been the first draft/incarnation, but the one they were going with. Naturally stuff changes over the course of filming. Was so long ago that I couldn't even tell you any of the major changes though. Damn, I feel old...
